Dr Julie McMillen

It is with immense sadness we report the passing of Dr Julie McMillen on 16th March, 2025 peacefully at home. Dr Julie McMillen was a huge part of this practice for decades. Even after retirement and ill health she returned for a time to the role she loved.
She taught so many of us so much about empathy, integrity and life. She was sharp witted, a brilliant doctor and never afraid to say what others may just be thinking especially if it was for the benefit of her patients. Her compassion, zest for life and sense of humour had no bounds and there’s a huge hole in our hearts that will never be filled. A formidable lady we feel incredibly lucky to have had her in our lives.
We will be collecting condolence cards/fond memories of Dr McMillen that can be passed to her loving family.
